How We Started

The founder and director of The Collective Parker Co is a homeschool mom who moved to Parker County for the vast opportunities that Parker Co had to offer her family, but once here she realized the communities were mostly sectioned off by their activities, beliefs, location, work status or curriculum. While this is a natural thing to see in any community she felt as though there were other families looking for a broader community experience with good quality academics, applicable life skills and fun activities to offer. While trying numerous programs and activities in Parker Co she realized that there was no broader homeschool community facilitator. The Collective Parker Co was created out love for the whole homeschool community, offering classes, activities, electives and support despite your beliefs, work status, or curriculum. The Collective Parker Co wants to enrich your education journey.

The Collective Difference

Cooperatives were designed to offer alternatives for homeschooling families, steering clear of the pitfalls of public education and the high costs associated with traditional schools, all while aligning with family values. At Collective Parker Co, we elevate this idea by providing a unique learning environment where students are taught by dedicated subject professionals rather than parent volunteers. Our educators bring their passion and expertise to the classroom, unburdened by state mandates or curriculum constraints. If you're seeking a cost-effective solution, other cooperatives might suffice, but if you desire a rich, student nurturing education led by passionate professionals, Collective Parker Co offers a distinctive choice. Experience education redefined, where expertise and commitment make all the difference.

Unit studies is a new option for us.  This is a 6 weeks unit designed by the respective teacher allowing you to further tailor your student's education with in class learning on a subject you may not be confident in teaching.

We incorporate life skills and application to our educational experiences so that the student is getting a well rounded education.
