Jill Pollard is a dedicated and passionate math teacher with over 14 years of experience in the

field. She believes that every student has the potential to excel in math, and she works diligently to create a supportive and engaging learning environment in her classroom.

Her background in mathematics was not always easy, as she struggled with the subject herself in K-12 studies. Hard work led her through teacher qualification (State of Texas, 2007) and the advanced mathematics required for her master’s degree (Tarleton State University, 2009). The personal challenges she experienced in math fueled her desire to help students overcome their own math hurdles and develop a love and appreciation for the subject.

Jill’s teaching philosophy is centered around building strong relationships with her students and helping them develop personal accountability. She encourages students to take risks and make mistakes in order to learn and grow.

Outside of the classroom, Jill is a devoted wife, mother, and ministry facilitator at her church.

She and her family have lived in various southern states during her husband’s military career. In her free time, Jill enjoys gardening, cooking, and exploring new places with her family.
